This makes me worried for the future.

According to the Daily Mail, Some Millennials are calling for a ban on voicemails. This movement started on Twitter, when an author named Matt Haig tweeted about it, and started this crusade of sorts. The tweet received more than 5,400 retweets.

While yes, this movement really hasn't gained any traction, the fact that this is even a suggestion is silly to me. Voicemails are incredibly helpful to me, especially when I miss the call and have no inkling of what the person wanted to get in touch with me about. Why would we need to ban voicemails? Should we ban phone calls altogether as well?

Long story short, Voicemails shouldn't be, and aren't, going anywhere. Take it from another Millennial.
