An arrest has been made in connection in the armed robbery of a Tuscaloosa pharmacy last Saturday night. (5/12).

Tuscaloosa Police say that Stephen Garrett Wynn, 36, allegedly told CVS Pharmacy employees that he had a gun before demanding them to hand over several prescription medications.

Police say that an employee of the CVS, located at the corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and McFarland Boulevard, was able to sound an alarm before the suspect fled the scene. A witness reported seeing the suspect leave in a gray hatchback vehicle.

Wynn was named as possible suspect, after authorities received a tip that he may have been involved in the robbery . On Tuesday, police arrested Wynn, and charged him with first-degree robbery. As of Wednesday, he remained in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with bond set at $60,000.
