CBS claims the Madawaska, Maine Police Department have issued a warning about Girl Scout Cookies that reads ...
''We have received reports that highly addictive substances will soon be circulating in our area . These substances go by the street names of Carmel deLites, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Thanks-A-Lot, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread and S’mores/ This “Cookie Cartel” is run primarily by young girls who lure you in with a good cause story and soon you’re addicted to these dangerously delicious things. If you come into contact with any of these cookies, you can drop them off at the Police Department. Officer Garrett Albert has courageously volunteered to "dispose" of them.''

I can testify, the police are right, Girl Scout Cookies are highly addictive.  I volunteer to to "dispose" of these substances myself if needed.

All joking aside, it's cookie time again and the Girl Scouts are taking orders now.   There are a number of ways to get your treats.  You can order them from a Girl Scout of course, but you can also download the Download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app or order them online.  You can also find a Girl Scout Cookie sale in your community, they will start popping up in February.

If you can't wait, or want to be able to find a cookie sale in your area, click here to find out how.
