Bribes for better grades? What?

How did this even happen?

NBC Reports that a teacher, Amanda Richardson, who taught high school humanities classes, wasn't truly teaching to the best of her ability. As it turns out, she might've made it easier for students to get good grades, but in the worst way.

Allegations have against Mrs. Richardson, accused her of accepting bribes to give students better grades, without them working in any way to earn the grade they deserve. Richardson was fired from her teaching position, and an investigation is underway to see if the rumors are true.

If this it true, then wow. I've never heard of this happening. Hopefully this isn't true, but the investigation will give us all the info.
