Much of the Gulf Coast dealt with severe weather on Sunday but Ft. Walton Beach saw itself right in the path of a tornado.

The combination of people prepared for the potential for severe storms and clear sight lines along the coast led to some pretty incredible footage of the tornado passing over the ocean and tossing debris through the skies .

The warnings began around 4 p.m. and this tornado came through shortly after.

Officials have been surveying the damage in Ft. Walton Beach and in Foley, Alabama, where another tornado had reportedly touched down. Multiple businesses suffered damage but there haven't been any injuries reported at this time.
