A road rage incident in Brookwood led to the arrest of two people this past week.

Amy Spraberry, 34, and Eric Brooks, 25, both faced criminal charges after an altercation which took place this past Tuesday, (11/6), near Brookwood Middle School.

According to investigator reports, Brooks' vehicle allegedly cutoff Spraberry's near the intersection of Brookwood Parkway and George Newell Road. Spraberry pulled up next to Brooks' car, displayed a handgun, and said, "she had something for him". Brooks then revealed his own gun and fired two shots in the air. Spraberry consequently fired one shot into his front passenger door.

 

 

Spraberry was held on a $5000 bond and charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. Brooks was held on a $3000 bond and charged with reckless endangerment

Fortunately, there were no injuries in this incident to either of the suspects, or any to  innocent bystanders.
