Vinnie Vincent appeared at an expo event over the weekend and was photographed wearing makeup similar to the Ankh Warrior mask he used as a member of Kiss.

He posed for pictures, spoke to fans and autographed memorabilia at the Chiller Theatre Toy, Model and Film Expo in Parsippany, N.J., ahead of his comeback concerts on Dec. 7 and 8 at Graceland in Memphis.

You can watch a video and view some pictures below.

Vincent was one of only two non-original members of Kiss to have his own makeup. Eric Carr played the Fox from 1980 until the band unmasked three years later; Vincent appeared as the Ankh Warrior from 1982 and was fired in 1984. Unlike the four original masks, the Fox and Ankh Warrior designs reportedly were never trademarked.

Vincent filed his own trademark bid earlier this year, leading Kiss bassist Gene Simmons to say the former member was “about to get into some more legal problems, because he tried to trademark the makeup and to trademark 'Vinnie Vincent Kiss', the logo."

Vincent, who’s only returned to the public eye over the past year, recently said he was working on an “uncomfortable” memoir that would go into detail about the issues he faced after Kiss fired him. His comeback shows were originally announced as acoustic performances, but he later said they’d include “full shred” experiences.

Kiss announced the first details of their End of the Road farewell tour earlier this week. The shows start on Jan. 31.
