7 Alabama State Parks To Visit This Summer

If you love the outdoors, you're living in the right state!  TripAdvisor has named 9 of Alabama's 22 state parks as Hall of Fame honorees for 2018 and 12 parks with Certificates of Excellence.

The parks honored with Hall of Fame honors are:

-Cathedral Caverns State Park
-Chewacla State Park
-DeSoto State Park
-Gulf State Park
-Joe Wheeler State Park
-Monte Sano State Park
-Oak Mountain State Park.

According to AL.com, Hall of Fame status is awarded to parks, venues, businesses and attractions who have received a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years.
