A proposal in the back of a police car.

This is an interesting way to say you're getting married.

The story, coming to us from the BBC, takes place in Bristol, England. A couple was pulled over, and it was discovered that they were driving without insurance. They were promptly placed in the back of a police squad vehicle, and their car towed. While in the back of the car, the boyfriend decided it was time to pop the question.

He proposed to his girlfriend, right then and there. And she said yes! They also decided to invite the officer driving to the wedding reception, although he declined. The officer however did take photos for the happy couple.

Well, cheers to them! It's certainly an interesting way to explain to future family how you got engaged.
