Enjoy Fantastic Football Weather for Tuscaloosa, Alabama’s Final Home Game
Alabama fans will be gathered at Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday, November 20th for the final home game against the Arkansas Razorbacks. It is a 2:30 pm kick-off and the excitement is building across Tuscaloosa.
Alabama vs. Arkansas Football Game Weather Outlook
It will be a cold start to Saturday in the mid-30s and some spots could be at the freezing mark.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist mentioned that “the sky will stay sunny tomorrow with a high in the mid-60s.” In his daily video, he commented that it was going to be a “great day for college football games.”
Also, the National Weather Service in Birmingham, mentioned that there will also be “southeast winds from 5 to 10 miles per hour, with wind gusts as high as 20 miles per hour.” That means with those winds, it will feel a little bit colder as well.
For those to planning tailgate, temperatures should start off in the high 50s and settle into the low 60s. It should be around 64 degrees around kick-off time then drop quickly when the sun sets. Around the end of the game, the temperature could be around 54 degrees. So be sure you are prepared or dress in layers.
Looking ahead to Iron Bowl Saturday, James Spann said it is too early to determine the weather. He did mention that the “American GFS model suggests a cool, dry day, but the European global model (ECMWF) shows widespread rain.”
