The Tuscaloosa Police Department is searching for a suspect after the shooting death of a man Wednesday afternoon.

According to CBS 42, The Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to a shooting on the 3400 block of 7th street at around 2:30p. The shooting appears to be the result of an argument, and Tuscaloosa Police does not believe the neighborhood is in any lingering danger.

Currently there is not a suspect in custody. The Tuscaloosa Police Department is currently interviewing witnesses and processing evidence. They are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting or may have any information to call (205) 349-2121. You can also call the Violent Crimes Unit at (205) 464-8690.
