A popular breakfast and lunch spot along the Gulf Coast is bringing its unique cuisine to Tuscaloosa.

Brick & Spoon, known for its build-your-own Bloody Mary and brunch menu, will open a new location in Temerson Square, according to the Tuscaloosa News. The restaurant already has locations in Lafayette, Louisiana as well as Mobile and Orange Beach. The latter is rated the number one restaurant in the city on TripAdvisor.

The owner, Eric Beech, used to own Mako's bar in Tuscaloosa for seven years before selling it and has since put his energy into Brick & Spoon. Beech is also a fan of the Crimson Tide and hosted Tide 102.9's Alabama football pregame show down at his Orange Beach location during the 2016 season.

The new location will move into the spot currently occupied by VeloCity Pro Cycle in downtown Tuscaloosa, which is next to Dotson's Burger Spot.  The restaurant is aiming to open before football season begins in the fall.
