Do you remember your favorite childhood pet? I remember my first one was an adopted dog named blue and he had blue eyes! I loved how friendly he was and was shocked no one else adopted him. You have the chance to provide that same joy for your kids or even for yourself. Every week, we team up with our friends at the Humane Society Of West Alabama to bring you a pet that could use a loving home. This week's Humane Society Of West Alabama's Pet of the Week is a Nala.

Press Release

Nala is a Pit Bull Terrier mix with a smooth chocolate brown and white coat. She is only 4.5-years old, but 3.5 of those years have been spent in our care. She is a pretty pittie who knows exactly what she wants in life and that is someone to provide her with an active lifestyle and lots of love. She loves playing with tennis balls and going for long hikes.

Nala is negative for heartworms, up-to-date on her vet care, microchipped, and spayed. She is just overlooked because of her breed, but we know she'll make a great running buddy for someone!

All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. Please call us at 205-554-0011 or email humaneswa@yahoo.com to request an appointment to see Nala. Our adoption fee is $75.
