Howie Mandel and the ladies are coming back to a TV near you. According to CNBC, the show will be returning with, "all the high energy and risk-reward that captivated audiences, with some exciting new twists."

I was an early-adopter of Deal or No Deal and began watching season 1. I loved the seemingly random nature to game play. This game is truly a game a chance and doesn't rely on having to answer tough trivia questions or expose yourself to feats of strength or fitness to win. It's as simple enough as picking the right case and avoiding the banker along the way.

The show was a huge hit when it premiered on NBC in 2005. I'm hoping it will once again be as exciting as I remember.

On a side note, I have auditioned for this new version of the show. After filling out a lengthy application and uploading pictures and videos, all I can do now is wait for that call from the casting agent. This isn't the first game show I've auditioned for. My family and I once auditioned for Family Feud. We didn't do so well, so I figured a game where I don't have to be anything but lucky, just might be for me.

I'll keep you all posted!
