Six Flags Over Georgia Renames Roller Coaster for Alabama After Losing Championship Game Bet
Six Flags Over Georgia made good on their bet on the National Championship game and renamed their roller coaster from the 'Georgia Scorcher' to the 'Alabama Scorcher' for the weekend.
Front gate staffers and ride operators on opening weekend also wore University of Alabama Crimson Tide T-shirts.
The bet was with with Alabama Splash Adventure. Whichever team lost the College Football Playoff National Championship, Alabama or Georgia, it would rename a ride in favor of the winning team. Alabama won the game when Tua Tagovailoa threw a 41-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith in overtime.
