Do You Remember this Scrubs Episode “My Tuscaloosa Heart”?

When I need to unwind, I like to binge-watch old TV series. It’s odd, I won’t sit and watch a full-length movie but will binge-watch hours at a time.

Recently, I’ve knocked out Grey’s Anatomy, Living Single, Golden Girls, All in the Family, Laverne and Shirley, Saved by the Bell, and The Wonder Years.

Now, I’m watching the Scrubs series which aired from 2001 to 2009 and dives into the lives of doctors, interns, and hospital employees. My favorite actor from the show is Donald Faison who played Christopher Turk and John C. McGinley who played Perry Cox.

I just finished an episode of Scrub called “My Tuscaloosa Heart” which was the 18th episode. I thought that was pretty neat.

According to Scrubs Fandom, this is when “Elliot is convinced that Dr. Kelso is the man singing country songs (including one called “My Tuscaloosa Heart”) on tape given to her by a patient. Both of them now wonder why all of the love songs star someone named "Bunny" instead of Kelso's wife.”

The song warmed my heart.

Plus I love when TV shows say Tuscaloosa or Alabama!

In the episode, it even shows Dr. Kelso playing the guitar and singing who denied it to him. And then it became clear that “Bunny” was a nickname for his wife.
