Say it ain't so!

Threatening employees for telling the truth?

Dollar General management overseeing workers in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and across the state AND country are reportedly trying to silence angry, tired, overworked and underpaid employees?

That's not the American way!

The employee said one of her managers told her to delete all comments, about Dollar General putting workers at risk in relation to safety standards, immediately or be fired.

In addition she was told to get rid of any post with negative comments about Dollar General. You have got to be kidding!

Dollar General employees have faced all types of threats of late.

Recently, a national news publication, detailed more of this silencing and called it "illegal".

According to the Teamsters Union, employees online complaints were "sabotaged" (cue the Beastie Boys please) when they dealt with workplace issues. What is going on here?

Do they think they're in China?

You can't tell workers what they can say online or to friends and family. Right? Would any large corporation get away with this blatant censorship?

Am I missing something? Did the rules change in the last six months?

It's such a big deal that employees have gotten the National Labor Relations Board involved. I'm convinced you always look like you are hiding something when you behave this way in business or in regular everyday life.

What do you think you will gain by trying to "shut the employees up"?

It will always blow up in your face. It's public record that Dollar General recently was cited by the government for hazardous conditions at many locations. The workers at those locations should be able to express their concerns.

In addition, MANY workers are being told that they will have to run an entire store, at times, alone.

That seems to be happening more and more at multiple places but enough is enough. What did the CEO of Dollar General make last year?

I'm confident it was in the MILLIONS yet workers and customers are expected to be ok with unsafe conditions at many stores.

THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
