Fall Weather Arrives - October 7, 2019

Fall weather arrives as we all rejoice the entrance of the long-awaited cold front.  Today you can expect showers with a high near 81, and we can’t rule out the potential for thunderstorms.  Tonight, there will be mainly isolated showers with a low around 59.

The rest of the workweek the temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80’s.  There is some chance of rain for Tuesday and then turning drier for the remainder of the week.   Friday Night could have some pockets of rain, so that plan ahead for the high school football games.  Next week will be even better with more seasonal like temperatures.

Global Weather Headlines:  We are watching the Western Pacific because there is a Super Typhoon named Hagibis approaching the Northern Mariana Islands.  At this point, you can compare Hagibis to category 4 hurricanes, and it is tracking to move towards Japan this weekend.

Enjoy the cooler temperatures.  Be sure to follow me on Facebook at @MaryKRadio  - Weather reporter.
