Going into a tough road game following a lackluster three quarters against the USF Bulls, Alabama looks to go into Camp Randall Stadium and prove to the college football world that they are still a powerhouse playoff contender and the rightful SEC Champions.

Ball security, discipline, and strong blocking are some key things to be on the lookout for Alabama this Saturday. Three lost fumbles, nine offensive penalties including six holding calls, two false starts, and one block in the back negating 173 total yards of offense and two scores during this past Saturday's win against USF.

The offense was a bit of a struggle in the first half against the Bulls. Going into the half it was a 14-6 ballgame with Alabama struggling to find a rhythm until the 4th quarter, where they outscored the Bulls 28-3. Jalen Milroe was 16/26 passing for 194 Yards and two scores through the air while also taking two more in on the ground. Bama's leading rusher was Jam Miller who had 140 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

The defense struggled to contain USF QB Byrum Brown who ran for 108 Yards against a very aggressive 4-2-5 defense led by Defensive coordinator Kane Wommack and Star linebackers Jihaad Campbell and Deontae Lawson. A mobile Quarterback with good ball carrier vision will continue to abuse the gap schemed Defense typically used to stop the pass. With Quarterbacks like Nico Iamaleava, Carson Beck, and even Brady Cook, who like to run and can exploit the gaps and make defenses pay, Alabama's defense needs to limit the up-the-field pass rush and get off blocks to contain any opposing quarterbacks who can use their legs to make plays and extend them.

A Wisconsin team led by former Miami Hurricanes QB Tyler Van Dyke, who isn't the most agile quarterback, will look to beat the Tide at their own game. relying on big-play wideouts and using the run to tire out the defense until they unload on the play action and start faking runs. Van Dyke who does have some experience playing the Crimson Tide was 0/1 Passing and had 3 carriers for 17 yards in the 2021 season opener, while he didn't start the game Van Dyke will look to improve his performance this coming Saturday.

Look out for the start of what could be a great home-and-home series between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Wisconsin Badgers with the first matchup coming Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 am @ Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, WI.
