The Islanders won by a score of 75-72 in Dayton, Ohio.

While it may seem like a 16 seed taking down the high-flying Tide is a farcical thought, Alabama cannot look past its opponent. Just a handful of years ago basketball fans saw the University of Maryland Baltimore County Retrievers take down the Virginia Cavaliers to become the first 16 seed to ever bounce a one seed.

The Islanders are far from counting themselves out to become the second, but their coach knows how tall the task is.

"They're really, really talented. We faced Arizona earlier in the year, very similar in terms of they can really score points. We're not gonna be able to score 77 points and win. You've gotta be able to get 80-plus just to beat them," said head coach Steve Lutz.

The Tide will have a practice open to the public on Wednesday as they get set to play the first of six games on the road to a national championship.
