The Alabama Crimson Tide's historic season ends in heartbreak as the Crimson Tide falls 71-64 to the San Diego State Aztecs in the Sweet 16.

The Crimson Tide was unable to overcome stifling San Diego State defense and shot a putrid 34% from the floor.

Everyone struggled offensively for the Crimson Tide. All American Brandon Miller was only 3-of-19 from the floor and only scored nine points, a far cry from his normal output.

San Diego State forced the Tide into 14 turnovers for the contest and ended up scoring 15 points off the turnovers and managing to outscore Bama eight to zero in fast break points.

Alabama ends the season 31-6 and hangs its hat on the SEC regular season and SEC Tournament titles. It's the second time in three seasons the Crimson Tide has been eliminated by a lower seed in the Sweet 16 after UCLA eliminated the Crimson Tide in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
