Jacksonville Classic Announces Matchups for Alabama

The Jacksonville Classic, a mid-season baseball tournament held in Jacksonville, Fla., officially announced its 2025 tournament schedule.

The Crimson Tide, who announced they would participate in the February tournament back in early July, will be joined by the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, the NC State Wolfpack, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

NC State is the only other team in the tournament that made it to the 2024 NCAA tournament, advancing to Omaha before being knocked out by the Kentucky Wildcats during the opening round at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

The Tide will open the tournament on February 21 at 6 p.m. ET against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, designated as the away team.

Vaughn and Alabama will again participate in the second game of the day the following evening, taking on the NC State Wolfpack at 4 p.m. ET.

The Crimson Tide will wrap up the tournament at 11 a.m. ET on February 23 against the Ohio State Buckeyes, being listed as the home team.

The Crimson Tide participated in a similar mid-season tournament last season, the Frisco Classic, finishing second behind the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
