The McAdory Yellow Jackets dominated Central-Tuscaloosa Friday night, winning 31-10 over the Falcons to earn a homecoming victory.

The Yellow Jackets would draw first blood at McAdory Stadium, scoring a chipshot field goal on the first drive. A surprise onside kick would set up a long touchdown run by McAdory's Kawaan Johnson to push the McAdory advantage to a quick 10-0.

The Falcons responded, as quarterback Trayvon Hall found Central wideout Marcus Grayson down the far sideline to cut the Yellow Jacket lead to 3.

However, from there on out, the scoreboard would be dominated by the McAdory Yellow Jacket offense.

In the ensuing drive, McAdory's Michael Barnes would find the endzone on a direct snap in the red zone. The following two-point conversion attempt by the Yellow Jackets was successful, extending the Yellow Jackets' lead to 18-7.

On a crucial drive for the Falcons, they would fall short, returning the ball to a red-hot McAdory offense.

The Yellow Jackets would severely diminish hope on the away sideline of a vital road comeback win, as McAdory wide receiver Carter Feagin would find himself wide open down the left sideline as Yellow Jacket gunslinger Justin Patton dotted him up in stride to find paydirt.

The following two-point conversion was not good; however, the Yellow Jackets still held a 17-point lead.

Unable to answer the rung bell, the Central defense would allow another Patton-Feagin connection for a score. The following extra point extended the Yellow Jacket lead to 31-7.

The Falcons would knock through a field goal just before the end of the first half to cut the McAdory lead to 21. This would be the game's final score, as both squads would enter a defensive stalemate in the second half.

McAdory advances to a 4-1 record while undefeated in region play, putting the Yellow Jackets in for a Region Title.

On the other sideline, the Central Falcons fall to 3-4, having dropped their last four matchups. The Falcons will likely need to stay undefeated the rest of the season to have a chance to sneak into the Alabama High School Football Playoffs.
