PFF Ranks Bama O-Lineman as One of Best 11 Returning Players
Pro Football Focus released its list of the top 11 returning offensive players across all of college football on Monday. The list includes a plethora of A-List names such as Caleb Williams, Brock Bowers, and Blake Corum.
It also includes Alabama's very won JC Latham, who was selected as the best returning right tackle in all of college football.
Eric Wolford did a great job of turning the Bama offensive line around and helping it get back to traditional form in his first year with the program. Latham, who was extremely talented but seemed undercoated as a freshman, might have benefitted from Wolford's arrival more than anyone else.
Tide 100.9's Josh Batchelor has predicted that Latham will actually be tasked with protecting the quarterback's blind side this season due to the strides he made on the right side of the line last year.
According to Batchelor, Latham will be joined in the starting lineup by Tyler Booker, Seth McLaughlin, freshman Kadyn Proctor, and Elijah Pritchett.
