Here’s another recall from Target…What’s going on with this retailer and the dangerous goods they have been selling lately? This is a tragedy that could have been avoided.

Children have died and that is cause for alarm! Target is recalling weighted children’s blankets! Two girls, ages 4 and 6, died from asphyxiation while playing with the blanket. They unzipped the washable cover and went inside, they then became trapped inside the blanket and the unthinkable happened.

The blankets made by Pillowfort sold at Target stores nationwide and online from December 2018 until September of this year weighed 6 pounds and have a removable waterproof/washable cover. The measurements of these blankets are 60 inches long by 40 inches wide.

They sold for $40.00 and came in 8 different child-friendly prints.  The following are the item numbers of the recalled blankets. Those can be found by unzipping the washable cover and locating the item number attached to the inside of the cover.  See Below the description of the blankets to watch out for and the item number for each one.
