Close To 1000 Customers Without Power This Morning In West Alabama
Following an evening and early morning of severe weather, there are reports of those without power in West Alabama.
According to the Alabama Power outage map, there are close to 1,000 customers without power as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
One outage area has a reported 738 customers affected with no estimated time of repair.
Alabama Power stated on their site, “We have all available resources working to assess the damage. This message will be updated as more specific information for this location becomes available.”
Another outage reported near Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Hargrove Rd has a reported 178 customers affected with no estimated repair time posted at the moment.
An outage off of Highway 43 near Charlie Shirley Rd as a result of a fallen tree should have power restored around 10 a.m. according to the Alabama Power outage map.
