[Photos] Northport Bunny Trail Grand Opening Draws Huge Crowd
There's a new spring staple in West Alabama and it officially kicked off on March 11th.
Tuscaloosa's One Place hosted the grand opening of the Northport Bunny Trail on 4th and Main which featured face painting, drinks, cookies, music, visits from the Easter bunny and beautifully decorated eggs for all to enjoy.
Families came out to enjoy the display of 5’ eggs lining historic downtown Northport. Organizations and businesses like The City of Northport, Townsquare Media, Lily Pads Boutique, and more showed off their creative and individually designed eggs-hibits for the community to enjoy.
There is nothing like Bunny Trail in the entire southeast USA. Not only is The Bunny Trail bring an enjoyable, walkable experience for the community, but it attracts visitors to the historic business area of downtown Northport.
This completely free event is great for families but also benefits Tuscaloosa One Place.
Proceeds from The Bunny Trail are used to support after-school programs, school social work, parenting and fatherhood, healthy relationship education, workforce development, and teen intervention programs ran by Tuscaloosa's One Place.
The grand opening of the Bunny Trail is just one of the many events that will take place during the duration of the Northport Bunny Trail.
Families can enjoy the egg displays through April 23rd, but special events like the Spring Jubilee, an Egg Hunt on the Bunny Trail, and more will take place in the coming weeks.
