Captain Morgan Ship Tours Tuscaloosa for Wild Weekend
A large, promotional pirate ship will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend - along with pretty much everyone else - as the Tide takes on the Georgia Bulldogs at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday.
The ship was on display at the ABC store on McFarland Boulevard Friday, and said they will be set up again outside Grandstand in Temerson Square Saturday afternoon.
Fans of Captain Morgan rum can stop by the ship to try samples of their new products and grab free swag, including popsicle molds and branded cups.
Their location downtown Saturday may make it easier to visit the Captain Morgan ship than attractions closer to campus, but traffic will be heavy all day, all across town - make plans to leave early no matter where you're going Saturday.
Grandstand is in Temerson Square in the former Wilhagans building at 2201 4th Street,
The Tide takes on Georgia at 6:30 p.m., at a game that will draw former President Donald Trump, Senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, a handful of legendary musicians and more.
