Tuscaloosa’s Midtown Village to Host Ultimate Summer Night Concert Thursday
Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village shopping center will host the Ultimate Summer Night Thursday, offering families, residents and visitors a free community event featuring live music and more.
A spokesperson for the mall said the event will take place tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on the Green, which is adjacent to the Barnes + Noble bookstore.
It is set to feature live music from the Derek Day Band, plus activities for children and booths featuring vendors from inside and outside Midtown Village.
Visiting restaurants and retailers include World of Beer, a t-shirt airbrusher, Blind Dog Biscuit, 205 Foam Parties, Your CBD Store, and more.
Midtown's own Club Pilates, Southern Roots, Chicken Salad Chick, Trek Bikes and others will also participate, and reps for Midtown Village itself will be onsite with swag and registration for a summer giveaway.
“The Ultimate Summer Night kicks off summertime in the best way,” said Hollyann Bemis, Marketing Associate for Midtown Village. “This concert gives families something fun to do on and provides a great venue to support our retailers.”
