Last Few Days for the Beat LSU Blood Drive

COVID-19 concerns postponed the Alabama and LSU game. It hasn’t stopped the Beat LSU Blood Drive with the Life South Community Blood Centers.

You can show your Crimson Tide pride or your Tiger pride by donating critically needed blood. The blood drive started on October 31stand we are in the last few days, which are Friday, November 13th, and Saturday, November 14th.

Did you know that “1 in 3 people will need blood in their lifetime,” said Life South. If you can’t make it out today or tomorrow but still want to donate blood, click here to enter your zip code to find an upcoming blood drive.

If you are able to donate blood, I encourage it. Also, I would love to see Alabama rise above LSU’s Beat Bama Blood Drive [that’s my competitive spirit lol].

According to WAFB, “every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. That equals nearly 36,000 units of red blood cells, 7,000 units of platelets, and 10,000 units of plasma that are needed every day across the U.S.”
