Weather Update For Thursday, October 10, 2019

Today, there will be partly sunny skies with a high near 88.  Tonight, a low near 65, and you can expect mostly clear conditions.  All-day, there will be a Southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.  However, I can’t rule out a possible shower, but it is a slim chance.

In looking ahead at our weather set up for Friday and the weekend, there will be a cold front that has the probability of bringing showers on Friday evening into Saturday.  At this point, I don’t believe we have the potential to see any severe weather.  The temperatures for the weekend will be much cooler, Saturday, and Sunday the high is expected at 71.  In the early part of the upcoming week, Monday – Wednesday we will have an excellent chance for rain.  Then Thursday and Friday should have some significant drying and further cooling.

If you are going to cheer on your favorite teams for Friday Night Football in West Alabama, you can expect mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers.  It looks like temperatures could be in the 60’s after halftime.
