If you’ve ever seen children doing “The Floss,” “Orange Justice” or a number of other dances, you probably know where they learned them: Fortnite.

Well, it seems that the game has swiped signature moves from a number of stars, and some of them want compensation.

While it seems that dance moves wouldn't be considered intellectual property, choreography can be, according to LegalVision.  When one thinks of choreography, it usually involves a sequence of dance moves, not just one dance move.

Should people who create their own dances be allowed to have them copyrighted? If so, a number of cease and desist orders will be issued in the near future.

What are your thoughts?  Should the creators and programmers of Fortnite pay the creators of some signature moves, or are the creators just being too serious and possessive, as some seem to think?
