The final shape of Tuscaloosa's Saban Center, an interactive learning campus coming to downtown Tuscaloosa later this decade, became clearer on Tuesday with the release of new renderings.

The dedication of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium will take place on Saturday, September 7 at halftime.

Nick and Terry Saban aren't done leaving their marks in Tuscaloosa, even after the legendary Alabama football coach stunned the sports world Wednesday when he announced his retirement.

In what certainly seemed to be a farewell to the Yellowhammer State, Mrs. Terry Saban, the beloved first lady of Alabama football, said the work of her philanthropic foundation will continue.

Terry Saban bent the rules for a good cause and dedicated the 19th "Championship" house her nonprofit has built in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Thursday.

Although her husband's name is the one used in the name of their joint community efforts, Terry Saban's mark has been left in Tuscaloosa through all she has done as the CEO and face of Nick's Kids. The selflessness she displays and the needs she works to meet in the community make Miss Terry a Phenomenal Woman of West Alabama.

It was a busy morning in Tuscaloosa, as the Nick's Kids Jubilee took over downtown for a joyous celebration of philanthropy, family and football.

The City of Tuscaloosa will celebrate the renaming of 28th Avenue with a parade that includes the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band, Big Al, and Nick and Terry Saban.

The Nick's Kids Foundation is lending a hand to victims of the flooding caused by Tropical Storm Claudette in Northport on June 19.
