Tuscaloosa Police Investigate Increase in Car Break-Ins
The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating more than 20 car break-ins over the weekend in the Druid City.
WBRC Fox 6 News reports the break-ins occurred between Saturday evening and Sunday morning at several local hotels. Suspects broke windows and rummaged through belongings in cars parked at the Hotel Indigo, the Comfort Inn on Jack Warner Parkway, the Hampton Inn on Harper Lee Drive, and the Microtel Inn on Veteran's Memorial Parkway.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department is reviewing security footage from the hotels in an attempt to identify those responsible for the break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to contact TPD at (205) 349-2121.
