Walmart Suspends 24-Hour Operations in Response to COVID-19 Outbreak
Walmart recently announced it would be closing its stores at 11 p.m. nightly to give employees additional time to restock and sanitize.
The national retailer made the announcement today. Shoppers will be able to visit Walmart Superstores and Walmart Neighborhood Markets between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily. The new store hours go in effect tomorrow (Sunday, March 15th).
Walmart is not the only retailer operating under reduced hours; Publix announced yesterday that it would close its stores and pharmacies at 8 p.m. nightly during the COVID-19 outbreak.
