Big Noodle Lou Takes On Guns N’ Roses

For many years, most people in Tuscaloosa have known me as the guy on the radio. However, what many people may not know is that when I'm not on the air, I'm usually indulging in my OTHER passion...... Guitar Playing. Seriously, whenever I'm not at work, you can usually find a guitar in my hands....even sometimes when I AM at work, you'll see me noodling away on one of my Axes. Especially on Saturday Nights.

You see, every Saturday Night before I go on the air for my "Saturday Nite Regrind Show", I usually treat my Facebook Friends to a "Pre-Show Ritual Ritual Jam". I've been doing this every Saturday Evening for the last year and a half. Since many of my listeners are not on Facebook, I realize that some people don't see these "In-Studio" performances. Therefore, I thought I would share my video from one of those Saturday Nights.

This jam took place a little over a year ago. I had completely forgotten about it until Facebook reminded me with a "On This Day" notification. Since I had completely forgotten about it, I realized that I had never uploaded this video to YouTube. Therefore, I did a few days ago, so I could share it with anyone who wants to watch it.

This video is one where I jam over a Guns N' Roses "Paradise City" style sounding backing track. I definitely had fun with it, but then again, I always have fun playing guitar because it always takes me to my "Happy Place".
