"Tech or Treat" returns for its third year of fun on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, so make plans to bring your family to the Tuscaloosa Gateway Innovation and Discovery Center.

This FREE event will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Gateway, located at 2614 University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa. Kids who attend get to visit the tables of different community partners and collect prizes and candy. Here's more from the event's Facebook page:

Tech-or-Treat is a free community event where children go table to table collecting candy and prizes from City departments and community organizations. Each table will offer fun activities and tech-themed prizes to visitors in costumes. The prizes range from cell phone accessories to digital storage devices.

“Discovery through fun and play is at the very heart of the Gateway’s mission,” said Mayor Walt Maddox. “Tech-or-Treat does just that - it introduces children to technology so they can get a head start with science and innovation.”

The event is free and open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
