4-Star Safety Commits To Alabama
Highly recruited safety Zavier Mincey has committed to the Crimson Tide. Mincey announced his decision at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Mincey is a playmaking safety coming from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. He measures around six foot two, and 187 pounds. In his standout season, he led his team to a 3S Florida state title.
He does not restrict himself to just football though, as he is a multi-sport athlete who competes in track and field and basketball. His recruiting comparisons liken him to a familiar face at Alabama, Terrion Arnold. He will look to join the nation's best defensive rookie this past season, Caleb Downs, in the Alabama secondary.
Mincey joins a highly touted class of recruits at Alabama. The Crimson Tide's recruiting class currently ranks second only behind the Georgia Bulldogs.
