Alabama Alumnus Cam Robinson to be Suspended by NFL
Adam Schefter is reporting that Alabama alumnus and current Jaguar offensive lineman, Cam Robinson, will be suspended to start the 2023 NFL season for an undisclosed number of games.
The suspension is for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy.
Robinson will either be suspended two, six, or eight games depending on what prohibited substance the NFL finds in a urinalysis. He will lose out on $888,888 per game he misses.
Since being selected by Jacksonville in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Robinson has been a mainstay on the Jaguar offensive line outside of the 2018 season when he tore his ACL in week two. The Jaguars franchise tagged Robinson two years in a row before agreeing to a three year contract extension with him.
In Tuscaloosa, arrived as the No. 1 offensive lineman in the class of 2014. He started all 14 games as a freshman, helped Alabama win the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship, and was a unanimous All-American in 2016.
