Alabama Softball Names Stars of Clearwater Invitational
The Alabama softball team has named the Stars of the Series from the 2023 TaxAct Clearwater Invitational.
The stars are Montana Fouts, Ashley Prange, Ally Shipman, and Kenleigh Cahalan.
Team 27 went 4-1 in the invitational, only narrowly losing to UCLA 5-3 on Friday night.
Fouts saw time in the circle in four of the five games of the invitation. She pitched 21.4 innings and recorded 18 hits, ten earned runs, four walks, 31 strikeouts, threw 364 pitches, and three wins.
Prange recorded six hits, three home runs, and seven runs batted in.
Shipman recorded six hits, three runs batted in, and drew one walk.
Cahalan recorded five hits, one home run, three runs batted in, and drew two walks.
