Earlier this week reports came out that stated Texas A&M starting quarterback Conner Weigman would "likely miss around 2-4 weeks" due to a high-ankle sprain.

More news came out Wednesday morning, though.

Billy Liucci, executive editor of TexAgs.com, reported that Wegiman would be out for the rest of the season. "Toughest of news for A&M football," he said on Twitter. "QB Conner Wegiman's foot injury is, in fact, a season-ender for the emerging SEC star."

Liucci reported that the injury would have about a three-and-a-half-month recovery for the starting quarterback.

This injury means that Texas A&M will have to rely on backup quarterback, Max Johnson, for the remainder of the season.

Meaning that next week, Johnson and Milroe will face off at Kyle Field for the Texas A&M-Alabama game.
