Dunlap Headed To Augusta
The University of Alabama's star golfer, Nick Dunlap, has received his invitation to play in the 2024 Masters in Augusta, Georgia.
Looking back on Dunlap's previous year there is no shortage of accomplishments to choose from. The Crimson Tide golfer gathered four team tournament titles, 3 individual medalist titles, a No. 11 place finish in the NCAA tournament, and won the U.S. Amatuer Championship.
Dunlap is no stranger to major championships. He played most recently in the past two U.S. Opens. He will look to add to his already impressive career as he has officially received his invitation to Augusta National. He will look to play among his fellow Alabamian Gordon Sargent. The Vanderbilt golfer and Mountain Brook native appeared in the masters last year where he missed the cut by five strokes.
Alabama golf will be looking to start its new year off right as its spring season will kick off Feb. 19 at the Watersound Invitational. After finishing No. 11 last year the team is looking to improve and capture the first national championship since 2014.
