LOOK: 51-Yard Field Goal Lifts Tuscaloosa Academy to Third Round

The Tuscaloosa Academy Knights followed up its first AHSAA playoff win last week, with an an exhilarating 23-20 victory over the Lexington Bears on Friday night.
With the game tied at 20, the Knights received the ball back with 33 seconds left, looking to execute a successful final drive on the road.
The Knights were able to drive down the field and line up for a 51-yard field goal attempt. The visiting crowd soon erupted as Tuscaloosa Academy kicker Patton Turnipseed nailed the long kick to send the Knights to the third round.

Up next, the Knights (10-2, 5-1) will be on the road once again to take on the Fyffe Red Devils (12-0, 7-0) in the third round of the class 2A state playoffs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CST on Friday, Nov 18.
