Realtor Kendra Roden posted about the sighting on Facebook after spotting the real-life villain from Child's Play in central Alabama.

As reported by Southern Living, Roden was riding with her friend, Alexis Atchley, when the incident occurred. "When we got closer to him, we saw that it was real," said Roden. "It scared the heck out of us."

Chucky in Pinson, AL

IGN ranks Chucky as number 15 on the most terrifying horror villains and it's not hard to see why. There's just something creepy about that little guy.

Chucky

In this case, though, the figure was clearly a young kid having fun. Roden suspected as much when she posted her open letter on Facebook.

"Dear Parents of the little boy in the chucky costume," she wrote, "GET YOUR KID."

Not to worry, though. We have reports that it's just a costume worn by 5-year-old Jackson Reed.

Jackson's mom Britnee told WDHN that dressing up like this was a normal occurrence. "He dresses up throughout the week. He loves to make people laugh," she said.

Maybe let's save it for Halloween next time, Jackson!
