Alabama right-hander Luke Holman reported via social media that he has found his new home for the next baseball season. Holman announced Thursday he would be making his way to LSU out of the transfer portal.

Holman, who was initially drafted into the MLB in 2021, decided to attend the University of Alabama after finishing his high school career in Pennsylvania.

Holman was scratched by now-former coach Brad Bohannon before the regular season game with the LSU Tigers during the 2023 season.

He entered the portal after the Demon Deacons of Wake Forrest eliminated Alabama in the Super Regionals.

His new home in LSU went on to win the national championship by beating the Florida Gators.

Holman’s 2023 season has had some strong highlights, finishing the season with over 80 innings of work on the mound for the Tide and as No. 10 in the SEC for total innings. He received an invite to the 2023 USA Baseball Collegiate National Training Camp for his work this season.
