“I am excited to see our community come together for this event. My immediate family members suffered from heart-related problems, and this is why I am so passionate and determined to make a difference not only for my family and friends but our community,” said Edgar Sherwood, 2024 Heart Walk Chairman and executive vice president at CB&S Bank. “The Heart Walk is more than just a walk. It’s a celebration of the efforts we’ve made over the past year in West Alabama, and a commitment to do even more. We walk to save lives.”
