Tuscaloosa Biz Brief: New EVP And VP For CB&S Bank
In Tuscaloosa/West Alabama business news, it was a busy day for CB&S Bank as they announced new executive positions today.
CB&S Bank continues the work on their new Downtown Tuscaloosa location, which is expected to be ready this Spring, as well as a busy day of welcoming new top executives.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Eddie Sherwood, has been promoted to serve as the new Executive Vice-President of CB&S Bank in Tuscaloosa.
Sherwood is a graduate of the University Of Alabama and has deep ties to the community.
The new EVP has been in the banking industry for over 40 years and will continue in his volunteer role as Chairman of the Board of Visitors for the University of Alabama's College of Community Health Sciences School of Medicine.
Sherwood's ties to the community include his time with Arc of Tuscaloosa as President and Board of Directors, in addition to multiple Board of Director duties for the United Cerebral Palsy, the Black Warrior Council of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and Leadership of Tuscaloosa, to name a few.
CB&S Bank also announced the promotion of Lisa Butler to Assistant Vice President/Treasury Management Sales Consultant covering Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Montgomery markets.
Butler also is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds over 10 years of experience in the banking industry.
Butler is a former business owner and brings a deep knowledge of forming good relationships with your banker, according to CB&S spokesperson, Kelly Cannon.
