The Weather Channel said the “Northeast could experience the warmest April compared to average. Parts of New York and New England, especially Maine, have the highest chance of warmer-than-average temperatures.”

Gulf Coast & Northern Half of the U.S.

We are anticipating slightly above-average temperatures in segments of the Gulf Coast and across a significant portion of the northern U.S.

Where to Find the Coldest Temperatures – Compared to Average Temps

The Weather Channel said, “Locations from Southern California into Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico could be the coldest compared to average.”

Alabama 2024 Temperature Outlook

Earlier predictions for April called for slightly above-average temperatures for our region. However, Alabamians might be in store for a pleasant April as the Yellowhammer State, including our neighboring states is looking at temps in the 70s.

Currently, Alabama is on track to have a slightly below-average April. In addition, The Weather Channel said that “much of the southern half of the U.S. is predicted to see temperatures near or below average.”
