"Many of you have noticed the work going on at the old Ruby Tuesday at I-20 exit 77 A steak and seafood will be opening in April. I m excited about this. I met with the owner today," Faile posted on social media Friday evening.

Councilman Faile said he spoke with the owner of the restaurant.

"When he opens it will be Dinner only for at least awhile," Faile added, "This will be a great addition to East Tuscaloosa."

This marks yet another new restaurant in Tuscaloosa. As the Thread previously reported, a new Mexican restaurant recently opened in central Tuscaloosa, replacing the closed Margarita's Grill on the northeast corner of 13th Street and McFarland Boulevard.

Made In Mexico held their soft opening in Tuscaloosa on January 13th.
