It feels normal, but not getting enough rest is really dangerous for our health.

Think about it. On average, how many hours of sleep are you getting on a nightly basis?

There are plenty of factors that contribute to the lack of sleep.

  • Job
  • School
  • Kids
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Eating Late At Night

To help go to sleep, people try things like melatonin, lowering the temperature in the room, and even CBD.

A CBD product site CBDfx recently conducted a study where they found the states that suffer the most from insufficient sleep.

The CBDfx study analyzed data issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labour Statistics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In the study, each state was given a rank of 1-50, with the lowest being the sleepiest.

The study determined the state of Alabama to be one of the sleepiest states in the country.

In the study, the state of West Virginia is the sleepiest state in the country with 43% of its people getting less than seven hours of sleep per night.

The state that landed in second place as the second sleepiest state is Alabama.

The Yellowhammer state had 40% of people report insufficient sleep in the study.

Alabama also has the lowest number of mental health providers per registered person totaling one for every 850 people.

We're in the top two, and this time it's not a good thing.

Why aren't people in Alabama getting enough sleep?
